baseplayer unit tests

Reported by Scott Downe | May 9th, 2011 @ 11:35 AM | in 0.9 (closed)

The future plan is for all players to derive from baseplayer. This means base player is going to need some fantastic and thorough testing.

For example, ticket #503 was not found sooner because we were not using that part of the code anywhere. So we should have tests for all properties and functions on the media object that we are emulating.

extractContainerValues was never being called, needs a test in baseplayers to test it is a function, and that it works as expected.

Other things like dispatchEvent, addEventListener, getBoundingClientRect, timeupdate, pause, play, and getStyle also need tests that they are functions, and that they work.
