sometimes core position tests fail

Reported by Scott Downe | September 8th, 2011 @ 10:47 AM | in 0.9 (closed)

This is not a common thing, but every so often, position tests fail:

Popcorn Position: position (12, 13, 25)

Who else is seeing this?

It should have a ticket, even if it is pretty low priority.

I am pretty sure this is a bug in the tests, and not popcorn's position code.

Happens only on the second load, and a Ctrl+F5 will solve it.

    • State changed from “new” to “resolved”

This can happen if you run the test suite in any browser that has extensions that change or add elements to the current document eg. firebug in FF, measureit! in chrome...

    A few solutions:

    • closing firebug, or opening it in its own window resolve the issue in FF
    • running the tests from an incognito mode window resolves the issue in Chrome
