preload=none and p.play causes video to be unplayable in chrome

Reported by Scott Downe | November 2nd, 2011 @ 02:57 PM | in 1.2 (closed)

This url does it for me: http://scotland.proximity.on.ca/sdowne/popcorn.applyclass.html

If you use a debugger to remove the preload="none" on the video element, it will become playable.

Also, removing p.play() will fix it.

We should see if there is something we can do to make it work like it does in Firefox.

Pretty low priority though.
