I think we should disable it by default, but let something like the subtitle plugin use it if necessary (because it can, and will be useful for Unisubs probably).
So, translation: disable this in the default editor.
It def should not be default—good call dseif.
But I don't think it should be removed. You can imagine media control plugins and the like that would need to target the media. "Pause" or "Volume Change" or whatever.
It may be that there's a more intuitive name for it—"Timeline media?"

Nice media awareness. In the future, it would be cool to display the title of the timeline media (i.e., Laylapop.webm) but that opens a can of worms re:implementation.
